We had run into Ben and his photography company by chance really and we were certainly thankful we did. When we were first introduced, it was asked if his hearing impairment was a concern to my husband and I. I initially thought that it was an odd question really. To be honest, I was more interested in his work, whether he was friendly and if he was invested into our day. His hearing impairment didn't enter my mind as a deterrent and I wasn't proven wrong either. Ben's hearing has no impact on the quality of his work nor the sincerity of his character. 

Leading up to the day and on the day, we were able to communicate freely. We expressed our desires for what we wanted and he was able capture not only pictures but pur story. 
What I most remember about Ben on the day, was driving into the carpark just before the ceremony and seeing his big smile. He had a presence which made you feel that your day was in good hands. He was the ninja behind the scenes at our reception. Not only did Ben fulfill his role as our photographer, he was able to tell our story through carefully captured images which now hang on my wall as a reminder of the happiness I shared with my husband and family that day. 
Ben is now my husband and I's friend which speaks volume about who he is and the quality of his work.
